We are seeking a skilled **Real Estate Market Analyst** to lead our data-driven pricing strategy efforts. Your technical expertise as a data scientist or statistician will be pivotal in optimizing our product offerings through precise price setting. This role involves deep analysis of the resale and the new home construction markets, along with absorption rates, to guide our pricing decisions.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct thorough data analysis of regional, provincial, and national real estate markets, focusing on the resale and new home construction sectors.
- Utilize statistical techniques to extract product and positioning insights from market data, including sales, inventory, rental rates, vacancy rates, and demographic trends.
- Evaluate economic indicators, government policies, and industry shifts influencing real estate market dynamics.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to assess market demand, align pricing with trends, and assess feasibility for new acquisitions.
- Deliver concise reporting and presentations to teammates and stakeholders, offering actionable insights based on market trending.
- Stay updated on cutting-edge tools, data sources, and best practices for refining market analysis accuracy.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements and contribute to analytical tool and software development.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Mathematics, Engineering, Economics and Finance).
- Proven track record as a Market Analyst, showcasing data orientation and synthesis.
- Profound proficiency in analysis, modeling, and research techniques.
- Deep understanding of real estate market dynamics, industry trends, and economic influences.
- Expertise in using market analysis tools, databases, and software.
- Exceptional communication skills, conveying complex data clearly and succinctly.
- Detail-oriented with adept problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Collaborative team player with a proactive approach to taking accountability and ownership of projects.
