**The Role**

The administrator establishes, nurtures and maintains relationships with all stakeholders and partners, and ensures achievement of objectives, financial controls for the organization. The administrator will balance responsibility in a multifaceted environment maintaining neutrality between the duties of the regulating college and the association

**CORE RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Operationalizing goals and objectives**
- track progress and report on meeting specific goals and objectives and make recommendations to the board and/or executive committee as required.
- manage the financial day-to-day accounting and finance requirements under the oversight of the treasurer.
- Prepare quarterly financial reports and provide support for the annual financial review.
- Draft annual budgets in conjunction with the treasurer to support established priorities.
- Assign unique ID number to each Denturist, ensure distribution of the registry to Government agencies, insurance companies, and DAC under the oversight of the Registrar.
- Process annual license renewal under the oversight of the Registrar.

**Stakeholder engagement and networking**
- maintain strategic partnerships and act as the primary conduit for external communications for operational matters.
- Work closely with consultants as necessary to proactively address challenges in the internal and external environment.

**Board/Executive Committee Communication and Support**
- Provide updates for the board between meetings.
- Provide support for membership services and work with the board and/or the executive committee members to develop new initiatives that will enhance member services.
- Collaborate with the board and executive committee members to identify issues; prepare board meeting agendas; prepare background information; prepare documents related to complaints and recommend policies for approval; prepare meeting minutes.
- Coordinate and implement all events approved by the executive committee.
- Ensure proper security and management of corporate records, property and documentation.
- Attend executive committee meetings, board meetings, key events, the annual general meeting and others as directed.
- Oversight and management of membership lists, external and internal member website, and intellectual property.
- Preparation of the annual report for submission to the membership.
- Act in role of DAM privacy officer and manage accessibility obligations under the Accessibility of Manitobans Act.
- Coordinate, with the Registrar, DAM nominations and election processes.

**Operations Oversight**
- Manage all outside consultants and service providers, in accordance with DAM policies.
- Other duties as assigned by the Board.

**Details**
- This role is considered a 0.5-0.6 FTE position
- the expectation is that the incumbent will work from home
- ability to drive with a valid Manitoba driver’s license to facilitate participation in meetings and events outside home-based office.

**Qualifications**
- 2-5 years’ experience as an Administrator.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team.
- Knowledgeable with accounting processes.
- Excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $28.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:
