**Description**:
Reporting to the Base and Operations Manager, the Fuel Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and ensuring that all the facets of fuel operations are performed in a safe, efficient, and professional manner. This position also oversees and coordinates the quality assurance activities and processes for vehicles and equipment and works closely with the Tank Farm Supervisor to ensure operational continuity at the tank farms.
**Responsibilities**:
- Plan, design and perform fuel operations according to the standards set by the Company, including fuel movement and aircraft fuelling, movement, placement, and storage.
- Ensure adherence to corporate, departmental and OH&S policies and procedures for fuel operations.
- Communicate changes in policy, procedures, products, services, or any other alterations that affect delivery of customer care.
- Troubleshoot issues and address customer concerns/complaints in an effective, timely and professional manner, ensuring appropriate resolution for the company and customer.
- Support and assist with ground handling, ramp operations and tank farm activities as required.
- Ensure that required supplies and equipment are available for fuel operations.
- Develop and lead a high-performing fuel operations team in order to meet business objectives and customer expectations.
- Plan and prioritize work for self and fuel operations staff.
- Supervise fuel operations personnel, including participating in recruitment, training, time management, performance evaluations, and terminations.
- Coordinate and/or facilitate new hire and recurring training for fuel operations staff.
- Coordinate and oversee Quality Systems processes and quality control activities for fuel operations, vehicles and equipment.
- Ensure the implementation of process improvements and corrective actions resulting from audits on handling, safety and security.
- Complete fuel operations administrative duties in a timely and efficient manner, including employee scheduling and timesheet approval.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of fuel operations reporting requirements.
- Maintain a tidy and orderly work area exhibiting pride in work performance and contributing to healthy and safe work environment.
- Ensure exceptional, courteous and respectful customer service.
- Comply with and participate in the Company’s Health & Safety programs and Quality Systems.
- Other duties as required.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Minimum three years previous management experience with proven leadership abilities required.
- Minimum five years of experience in an aviation operational role required.
- Class 3Q or Class 1 Driver's license
- Airport Security Clearance (RAIC)
- Clean Driver’s Abstract
- First Aid and CPR are an asset
- Effective verbal and written communicate skills
- Highly motivated with a strong work ethic and positive team attitude
- Able to work with mínimal or no supervision
- Understanding of mathematics and basic computer skills
- Effective planning, prioritization, and execution skills
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
- Effective analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Able to work collaboratively and productively as a member of the EFC Team
- Ability to work in all types of inclement weather conditions
- Ability to work overtime, extended shifts, weekends, and general holidays
- Physical requirements include considerable use of your arms and legs, climbing, lifting 60lbs repeatedly, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials
- Must be 18 years of age or older with a High school diploma or GED
