Reception/administrative Assistant

Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our daily operations and ensuring smooth office functioning. This is a part-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement. We expect the role to be full time in the next 12-18 months.
**Duties**:
- Provide administrative support to the team, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct inquiries to the appropriate person
- Greet clients and provide them with necessary information or assistance
- Perform data entry tasks, such as updating records and maintaining databases
- Assist with document preparation, including typing, formatting, and proofreading
- File and organize documents both electronically and in physical filing systems
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Assist with special projects or events as assigned
**Requirements**:
- Proficient in using Microsoft Suite (Word, Outlook, and Excel) and other office software
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Previous administrative experience in financial services is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document management
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle multiple phone lines
Note: All positions at our company are paid positions, including internships.
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
