**Job Title**: Administrative Assistant

**Job Summary**

Provide general clerical and reception support for the day to day operations of the Society while maintaining the databases and website and marketing channels. We are a small, charitable organization whose programming generally follows the school calendar with open office hours Mon-Thursday from mid August through June, with some duties required over the summer. We are willing to flex for the right person

**Reporting to**: Executive Director

**General Responsibilities**
- Reception - manage phones, greet visitors
- Maintaining databases, records, and equipment for the Society’s programs and services
- Maintaining, posting, and updating marketing and social media channels such as the organization’s website, Facebook page, and mail service
- Building and equipment purchase, repair, and maintenance*
- Purchase office supplies, track inventories, and arrange janitorial service
- Supporting the Executive Director and other program staff in a team environment with related duties as requested

**Qualifications Preferred**
- Proficiency in the MS office suite, Google office suite (mail, calendar etc.), Salesforce, Adobe Acrobat, MailChimp, WordPress, Canva, ideal.
- Some experience with social media platforms
- Some technical aptitude and the ability to operate and maintain office equipment
- Experience working in a non-profit/charitable environment
- Willing to learn new technologies
- Ability to work independently
- Enjoys people and helping others
