Account Manager/ Business Development

Unit Park is a professional Parking Management and Development firm with over 4 decades of experience. Our portfolio includes a wide range of properties from commercial, retail and residential properties, and institutions such as Healthcare and Education.

We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team who is committed to personal and professional growth. Your roll will include managing current and developing relationships and all aspects the day-to-day operation of each location. You will collaborate with team members in ensuring optimal management of your portfolio, as well as offering superior client and customer service. You will work closely with the Director to help scale the company further in support of Unit Park’s growth.

**Responsibilities**:

- Managing existing client relationships through routine formal and informal meetings.
- Ensuring contractual obligations are met.
- Monitor volume trends, customer demographics, performance and strategies and operational opportunities.
- Perform regular audits to mitigate revenue loss or abuse of parking privileges.
- Monitor maintenance of the facility and coordinate improvements as needed including but not limited to: surface repair, lighting, signage, litter and snow removal.
- Coordinate with contractors and other service providers
- Staffing and training employees
- Managing customer parking needs, daily and monthly
- Operating and maintaining equipment
- Provide client reports.
- RFP submissions
- Cold calling
- Presentations
- Plan and execute strategies for new acquisitions
- Plan and execute new site launches.
- Other duties may be assigned at any time.

**Skills**:

- Executive level communication, writing and presentation skills.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong sales and business development skills
- Technologically savvy
- Ability to structure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- At least 2 years account management experience (property management preferred)
- Able to work well individually and with teams.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong networking skills
- Driving required to meet with clients and visit locations.
- Experience in parking industry preferred

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON M4Y 1L8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
