We are currently looking for a **Legal and Administrative Assistant to** join our team

**What you can expect in this role**:
The Legal and Administrative Assistant provides administrative support in all stages of corporate and/or interparty transactions, handles the repository of contracts and other document, assist in the coordination of agendas, and the day-to-day legal/compliance functions of the Company.

**More specifically, here are some of the key responsibilities**:

- Ensure the classification and management of various systems related to document management, including contracts, files, legal and corporate files, leases, etc.
- Perform, review and approve English to French and French to English translations of various types of documents, including agreements, press articles, reports, etc., including on the company website.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation to be filed on SEDAR, SEDI, EDGAR, as well as required filings with Canadian provincial and federal regulators, and assist with other legal administrative tasks as required.
- Assist in the preparation and closing of various corporate transactions (i.e. documentation for annual filings, amendments, withdrawals, incorporations, mergers and dissolutions of corporations, including mergers and acquisitions, land acquisitions, royalty agreements, etc.).
- Contribute to the creation and administration of contracts and contract templates for various stakeholders.
- Support various processes related to Board management, including ensuring the accuracy and integrity of meeting agendas, the timely delivery of meeting materials, the drafting of standard resolutions, the preparation of meeting minutes, and the maintenance of Board member and committee membership files, including biographies and confidential information.
- Occasionally assist in the preparation of various corporate, securities and stock exchange registration requirements (annual information form, management information circular, etc.).
- Assist in the preparation of responses to internal and external (auditors) requests for information, and help monitor provincial and federal lobbying efforts and report to the appropriate regulatory bodies.
