**Title**: Human Resources Advisor - Labour Relations (Internal Only)
**Salary**: $72,841 - $91,051 - $100,156
**Contract**: Permanent
**Hours**: Full-time - Standard hours - 37.5 hours per week (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri)
**Location**: Coast Salish Territories of Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh Nations: Metro Vancouver
- Park Royal Office (Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA’s flex work policy).

Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway, after October 2024.

**About the role**
As the Human Resources Advisor, you will support Human Resources and Labour Relations initiatives and ensures alignment with organizational and departmental practices and human resources strategies. You will provide support and guidance in handling a variety of human resources and labour relations issues such as, performance management, disciplinary measures, and attendance management. And you will provide assistance in handling grievances and complaints. As well as, you will research, and conduct analysis and study on other published collective agreements to determine the position of FNHA. In addition, you will deliver training and information sessions on employee and labour relations policies, processes, and issues for all stakeholders within FNHA.

**About you**
To be successful in this role you will have/be
- A university degree in Human Resources or Labour Relations or an equivalent combination of related education and experience.
- Labour and Employment law designation or Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation is considered an asset.

- You may have experience in;- 3-5 years progressively responsible Human Resources and/or Labour Relations experience, including support at a management level.
- Experience in handling performance management, discipline and dismissal, human rights, complex attendance management and disability management issues (in a unionized or in a multi-union environment).

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.
Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.
The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level.

As a health and wellness organization, the FNHA has aligned with the Provincial Public Health Order released on October 14, 2021. We have a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy for all employees at First Nations Health Authority. This policy requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. If selected for employment, you will be required to provide proof of vaccination by providing a copy of your BC Vaccination Card Passport with the QR code.
