Administrator

The Administrator will support the administrative functions of the Markham manufacturing plant in addition to assisting with the day-to-day operations.
This position will report directly to the Markham Supervisor(s) and Manager and will comply with all company policies and health & safety requirements.
**Education**: Ontario Secondary School Diploma, or equivalent
**Experience**: 2+ years of experience in an administrative role (desired)
**Communication**:
Proficient in reading/writing in English
**Physical Abilities**:
Lifting of moderate objects
Bending, twisting and reaching
**Additional Abilities**:
Strong computer literacy and mathematical skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Ability to work in a dusty, noisy, industrial setting
**Required Skills include**:
- Strong organizational skills
- Detail oriented with a focus on accuracy
- Self-motivate in independent work
- Ability to multi-task & handle large work loads
- Initiative/determination to meet critical deadlines
- Positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
- Possesses analytical/critical thinking skills
**Primary Functions of the Role Include**:
- Participate in plant administrative reporting activities
- Participate in all safety initiatives and practices, safety reporting and JH&SC (administrator)
- Participate in plant purchasing and receiving activities
- Participate in plant maintenance/inventory reporting activities
- Participate in housekeeping functions to promote a clean and safe work environment
- Participate in company programs and initiatives to ensure quality/efficient production
- Perform other various duties as assigned by supervisor/manager
