**Position: Administrative Assistant**

**Division: Utility Locates Category**:
**Canadian Locators Inc is currently recruiting an Administrative Assistant. This position is in the Markham, ON office. Canadian Locators Inc. is an underground locating company. Reporting to the Project coordinator, the Administrative Assistant is an entry-level role that will assist our project teams in the development of our subcontractor network and in the delivery of various projects for our client.**

**Responsibilities**
- **Read and verify utility records**:

- **Schedule and coordinate underground locate verification activities**:

- **Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients**:

- **Liaise with executive and senior administrative assistants to handle requests and queries from senior managers**:

- **Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports**:

- **Create and present reports in a professional manner**:

- **Provide additional administrative support as required**:

- **Handle emergency situations in a professional and timely manner**

**Qualifications**:

- Education -. College Degree or other equivalent education
- A 1 year Canadian experience in administrative field is a must
- Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and general computer functions
- Multitask and perform well in a very fast-pace and high pressure environment
- Work independently and in a team dynamic
- Open to learn and take on new challenges with a positive mindset
- Possess proficient communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be good in typing.
- Must have sound knowledge in MS word, excel, power point, google docs

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour

**Education**:

- DCS / DEC (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
