**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu guidelines.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food handling and storage practices.
- Assist in the planning of menus and meal preparation schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
- Participate in regular kitchen meetings to discuss menu changes, special events, or other operational updates.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar role within the food service or restaurant industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in meal preparation and presentation.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that exceed guest expectations.

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour
