The Coordinator, Outreach and Community Engagement is responsible for the delivery of outreach programs and activities to support the profile of Humanities and Hellenic Studies. The role coordinates communications marketing, and the design, delivery and evaluation of outreach programs, while establishing and maintaining working relationships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders. The Coordinator supports the Centre finances and carries out general day to day administrative activities.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Humanities, or Social Sciences and four years of experience in budget management, event management, marketing, outreach and engagement or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Knowledge of, and sensitivity to, diversity, gender, “race”, ethnicity, indigeneity, sexual identity and socioeconomic issues.
- Excellent knowledge of communications principles, practices, and techniques.
- Excellent planning, budget planning, and financial management skills.
- Excellent communication (oral and written) skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent project management and event management skills.
- Ability to work independently, establish priorities, meet deadlines and work on a number of different initiatives concurrently.
- Proficient in the use of word processing, spreadsheet, database and online and multimedia technologies including standard information systems and content management systems.
