**Position Summary**:This part-time role is part of the Human Resources team at Iovate. We offer flexibility in terms of hours of work with a hybrid work arrangement. The incumbent will be in the office (part-time hours) a minimum of one day per week to ensure all filing related to employee records, specifically payroll and benefits, is maintained and kept up to date. Other responsibilities can be performed remotely.

**Accountabilities**:

- Canadian, U.S. and International Payroll via third party provider
- Preparation and submission of weekly payroll using the payroll system associated with your client service group
- CDN - Ceridian Dayforce
- US - Ceridian Dayforce
- UK - DCS
- Process entries, adjustments and updates including new hires, employee changes, terminations, transfers, vacations, and leaves
- Maintain Employee Personnel Files, ensuring all records are filed, accurate and complete
- Administer Canadian & US Benefit policies and process all employee updates; process open enrollments and FMLA requests
- Complete and submit Canadian tax & wage statements as required
- Yearend reconciliations including, T4 processing, W2 Processing, ACA Reporting
- Assist in preparing remittances for WSIB, EHT, CPP, EI, NYSIF, RRSP, 401k benefit premiums, etc.
- Complete assigned projects within the target dates and timelines provided
- Assist with the achievement of Corporate Strategic Initiatives as assigned
- Assist with other HR-related projects as needed

**Experience & Skillset**:

- Post-Secondary education Payroll, Benefit Administration or related field
- Up to 3 years of related Canadian payroll experience preferably within a consumer-packaged goods environment (willing to train on US and third party International payroll)
- Completed or in process of completing CPA or CHRP certification/designation considered an asset
- Minimum 2 years payroll experience, preferably using Ceridian Dayforce
- Experience administering benefit plans considered an asset
- High energy with a comfort level interacting with employees of all levels
- Strong knowledge of MS Office including Excel and Outlook
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, team environment
- Experience within an HR team dealing with employee relations is considered an asset
- Proactive and able to continuously manage change in an extremely fast paced, energetic work environment
- Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills
