Career Opportunity for Part-Time Payroll & Benefits Coordinator

Iovate is a dynamic, leading-edge nutrition company that delivers high-quality products to customers worldwide.

This part-time role is part of the Human Resources team at Iovate. The incumbent will be in the office (part-time hours) a minimum of one day per week to ensure all filing related to employee records, specifically payroll and benefits, is maintained and kept up to date. Other responsibilities can be performed remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit weekly payroll using Ceridian Dayforce, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations
  • Administer Canadian & US Benefit policies and process employee updates, including tax & wage statements as required
  • Perform yearend reconciliations, including T4 processing, W2 Processing, ACA Reporting
  • Complete assigned projects within target dates and timelines provided
  • Assist with Corporate Strategic Initiatives as assigned
  • Support other HR-related projects as needed

Requirements:

  • Post-Secondary education in Payroll, Benefit Administration or related field
  • Up to 3 years of Canadian payroll experience, preferably in a consumer-packaged goods environment (willing to train on US and third-party International payroll)
  • Completed or in process of completing CPA or CHRP certification/designation considered an asset
  • Minimum 2 years payroll experience, preferably using Ceridian Dayforce
  • Experience administering benefit plans considered an asset
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Excel and Outlook
  • Experience working in an HR team dealing with employee relations is considered an asset
  • Proactive and able to continuously manage change in a fast-paced work environment
