Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Comprehensive Payroll and Benefits Administrator to join our Human Resources team in Oakville, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have experience administering Canadian payroll and benefits, with knowledge of Ceridian Dayforce and third-party international payroll providers.

About the Role
  • Prepare and submit weekly payrolls for Canada, US, and International locations via third-party providers
  • Maintain employee personnel files, ensuring accurate and complete records
  • Administer Canadian and US benefit policies, process employee updates, and handle open enrollments and FMLA requests
  • Complete tax and wage statements, yearend reconciliations, and remittances as required
  • Assist with HR-related projects and corporate strategic initiatives

This is a part-time role with flexibility in terms of hours of work, including a minimum of one day per week in the office to maintain filing related to employee records.

Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in Payroll, Benefit Administration, or a related field
  • Up to 3 years of related Canadian payroll experience, preferably in a consumer-packaged goods environment (willing to train on US and third-party International payroll)
  • Completed or in process of completing CPA or CHRP certification/designation considered an asset
  • Minimum 2 years payroll experience, preferably using Ceridian Dayforce
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Excel and Outlook
