**CONTRACT POSITION: LOCAL MARKET EVENT MANAGER**

**_ This is a temporary contract position._**

The Local Market Event Manager is a key player in delivering excellent brand experiences in their local territory; bringing to life a brand world and marketing plan that's perfect for their community. The Local Market Event Manager plays a central role in the day-to-day management of assigned tasks and executions in their market. They will work with different departments within the agency as well as external stakeholders to research, plan, and coordinate logistics for key activations in their key market. They are responsible for managing planning, execution, budget, and success of assigned programs.
- 2+ years of experience in planning and executing brand marketing events.
- Experience working with CPG brands is a plus.
- Experience working at a marketing agency and a strong understanding of the client / agency relationship.
- A natural client-service mindset; eager and passionate about delivering results, partnership and professionalism at every turn.
- Possess a strong understanding of local culture, events and traditions.
- Possess a strong attention to detail, can-do mindset, and ability to problem solve.
- A positive, upbeat attitude.

**Job Details**
- This is a full-time contract position beginning in August and lasting through the remainder of 2023.
- This role pays a weekly rate of $900 CAD / week.

(mileage and gas is reimbursable in work capacities).
