**Program Overview**
The **Toronto North Local Immigration Partnership (TNLIP)** develops and maintains new partnerships and implements a local settlement strategy in the Toronto North geographic area.
**We’re looking for someone who will**:
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff; be responsible for integrating the work of all staff and maintaining operations according to the work plans approved by the Project Management Group (PMG); lead process for development of annual work plans with assistance of coordinators of work groups and in consultation with Partnership Council and PMG (steering committee)
- Coordinate activities across work groups finding alignment with activities of other three quadrant LIPs, Newcomer Leadership Table (NLT), Toronto Newcomer Office and other key stakeholders
- Maintain current partnerships, seek relevant members, and support their participation and leadership
- Share information regarding priorities and initiatives with other quadrant LIPs, NLT, and the National LIP Secretariat, and work collaboratively with all Toronto LIPs to implement city-wide activities
- Provide support, information and advice to enable the effective functioning of the Project Management Group and the Partnership Council of the project; convene meetings of these bodies and participate in meetings of Toronto InterLIP bodies
- Participate in community/neighbourhood networks, community consultations and relevant forums
- Prepare annual performance review (APR) and oversee implementation of agreed evaluation framework and tools. Conduct monitoring and evaluation to promote project sustainability
- Prepare all reports and annual budgets, monitor program expenditures and maintain accurate and timely records, statistics and reports
- Flexible hours / evenings / weekends may be required for this position._
**Minimum Qualifications & Experience**:
- Degree in Social Services, International or Community Development, Knowledge Mobilization or Communications, Political Science, Business, or a related field
- 5 years’ of Community Development facilitation experience
- Strong knowledge of immigration, settlement, employment, and organizational development
- Experience in budget preparation, strategic planning, service coordination, and project management; effective organization and time-management skills
- Strong problem-solving skills, solution-focused
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work within a team environment and with multiple levels of management
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literate; the ability to learn systems used by the agency (ie. SalesForce)
- A clear Police Vulnerable Sector check is required for this position
