Atlantic owned and operated industrial supplier looking for full-time permanent Administrator for our Field Service department.

Rideout Tool & Machine St. John’s location employs 1-2 Field Service Technicians responsible for trouble-shooting, repair and routine maintenance of all makes of rotary screw and reciprocating air compressors as well as compressed air system components and wood or metalworking machinery; specifically Atlas Copco compressors and systems covering all of Newfoundland & Labrador.

The Field Service Administrator is responsible for:

- Scheduling all field service work for the technician(s);
- Being the primary point of contact for our customers requiring our services;
- Providing price quotes to customers for field service including sourcing and pricing parts required for the work, estimating labour hours as well as travel if required;
- Ensuring parts required are ordered in a timely manner and available when needed for upcoming work and tracking required parts as needed;
- Scheduling field service work based on priority, urgency as well as by geographical location to consolidate out of town jobs where possible;
- Ensuring completed work is correctly invoiced to customers in a timely manner;
- Working with our customers to proactively communicate their needs and any issues that may arise in scheduling, parts availability, status of their work order or general issues;
- Tracking and monitoring our customers service needs to proactively schedule any upcoming work and let customers know their equipment is due for routine service;
- Maintain field service records and database of customer contact information, compressor or machinery information as well as parts required for routine maintenance;
- Maintain inventory of common parts;
- Serve as technical support for customers and customer service personnel;
- Work and communicate with the Field Service Technician(s) in completion of work orders including daily updates on work order status, ensuring required parts are ordered and/or available to complete required installations and repairs;
- Complete and maintain required documentation for all service work including work orders, inspection documentation, maintenance checklists and daily time sheets.
- Have a proven track record of exceptional customer service skills
- Possess exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Ideally possess some electrical-mechanical technical experience and expertise
- Be capable of reading and understanding operator manuals and parts diagrams for all types of equipment

**Qualifications**:

- A High School Diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years of related customer service experience
- Electrical and mechanical aptitude and/or experience is an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
