Territory Manager

**Job Summary**:
- Optimize and mine sales through industrial distributor channel partners and prospect, qualify, and develop new end-user customers in the automotive, electronics, aerospace, energy, construction, food packaging, medical, metal working, and manufacturing industries.
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- New Business Development - End-User & Distributor - Present, demonstrate, and sell The L.S. Starrett Company products and solutions to end-user customers and distributor channel partners. Work independently or with distributor sales team to develop end-user customers
- Account Management & Development - End-User & Distributor - Manage, develop, and grow sales by supporting distributor partners through joint calls, sales training and product training, technical support, problem resolution, and product recommendations
**Qualifications**:
- Self-directed, results-oriented sales professional with technical aptitude, strong consultative sales skills and the experience and ability to qualify customer needs and develop new sales opportunities
- An interest in and experience with territory management, new business development, and customer retention
- Proven skills in prospecting, qualifying, demonstrating and influencing diverse decision makers as well as the ability to accurately target and develop new business opportunities
- Work independently from a home office / virtual environment
- Experience in manufacturing or distributor-focused sales environments
- Expertise in new business development, qualifying, developing and securing new customer accounts through distribution and/or direct end-user channels
- Sales experience and success in developing customers in a multi-channel sales scenario
**Requirement**:
- Bilingual
**Education Requirements**:
- Minimum - 2 years Associate Degree
**Years of Experience**:
- Minimum - 6 years Sales experience
