The Account Executive will establish an excellent working relationship with clients and continuously strive to improve the business relationship and overall level of service.

**Your Essential Duties**:

- Develop sales opportunities through your extensive network within investor relations and public relation, working to turn prospective customers into new customers
- Manage the sales cycle to ensure new logo accounts become net new Notified accounts
- Maintain excellent knowledge regarding our Public Relations & Investor Relations products, engaging in additional on-the-job training, as well as on-going training
- Be willing to meet with new prospective clients in person
- Proactively manage pipeline; input, monitor, and update opportunities in a timely fashion - knowledge and experience with Saleforce is a plus
- Experience with and success in achieving assigned bookings quota
- Assist in contract development as needed
- Assist sales and marketing staff with sales campaigns as needed
- Client Relations - Establish an excellent working relationship with clients, continuously striving to improve the business relationship and overall level of service
- Ensure the unique needs of the client are understood and identify improvements needed to enhance business relationships, increase revenue, and exceed the client's expectations.
- Perform quality review of services provided; review trends and customer complaints to evaluate efficiency of workflow and current methods and procedures.
- Provide input and perimeters to ensure customer surveys are effective and useful as required

**What you will bring**
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Business, Economics, Marketing, PR (Public Relations) or a related field
- Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (French an asset but not required)
- Previous PR/IR experience required
- Previous B2B sales experience
- Experience of working in a targeted environment
- Superior relationship management and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel - 20%
- Experience delivering compelling presentations to large audiences

**Experience**
- Minimum 5 years increasingly responsible experience in national, regional or Province wide sales to include extensive prospecting required, preferably in the Public Relations/media/social monitoring/Investor Relations/platform industry
