**Position Description**:
**Here’s What You’ll Get To Do**
- Assist with the preparation of study materials
- Enter and review data for accuracy and completeness, including data re-entry and data cleaning
- Assist in administrative tasks related to clinical research (REB submissions, amendments, study maintenance, etc.)
- Assist with volunteer onboarding, training, and supervision
- Conduct literature reviews and keep current with study literature

**Research Subject Related**
- Screen patients for study eligibility
- Explain studies and obtain informed consent
- Coordinate study appointments or follow-up on study requirements
- Assist with data collection and organization
- Conduct health chart reviews

**Here’s What You’ll Need**
- Masters’ Degree (preferred) or related post-secondary degree in sciences, social sciences or a health-related discipline
- One or more years research experience is preferred
- Ability to learn how to review and prepare study protocols
- Ability to function independently yet collaboratively within a team
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Embase and MEDLINE searches, REDCap, EPIC)
- Effective communication, interpersonal, facilitation and organizational skills

**Minimum Degree Required**:Masters (preferred) or Post-Secondary degree

**Relationships and Responsibility**:Reports to Principal Investigator

**Contact with Hospital Employees**: Considerable: Must develop good working relationships with research team

**Contact with Public**: Considerable; Varies depending on research study

**Location**: Applicants must be available to work in-person at The Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Canada. Only applicants who live within Canada will be considered
