**Human Resources Coordinator**

We are seeking an enthusiastic, self motivated team player to join our growing HR Team.
- Manage all administration related to recruitment - including internal and external job postings, pre-screening of resumes and applicants, reference / background checks, preparation of letters of understanding and developing job announcements.
- Conducting interviews with hiring Managers.
- Participate in new hire orientation.
- Prepare and process all HR related paperwork accurately and efficiently including new hires, terminations, promotions, transfers, salary increases and other changes to employee information and submit relevant information to appropriate departments.
- Coordinate performance evaluations.
- Ensure HR processes & procedures are consistently followed and communicated.
- Conduct Exit Interview with the departing employee.
- Assist with Employee Engagement surveys.
- Assist with the progressive discipline process.
- Provide service to internal customers on all HR related inquiries and requests.
- Manager requested documentation/reports.
- Update Bulletin Boards.
- Coordinate training for unionized and non-unionized employees.
- Manage training database.
- Attend career fairs.
- Assist with events as required.
- Other related tasks and duties as assigned.
- Post-secondary education with successful completion of Diploma or Degree in Human Resources.
- Minimum two years in a Human Resources Environment.
- Knowledge of full cycle recruitment.
- Experience in a union environment preferred.
- Experience maintaining an HRIS systems.
- Excellent computer skills, including Word and Excel in a Microsoft Windows environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- General knowledge of various employment laws and practices.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Skills in database management and record keeping.
- Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability.
- Ability to gather and analyze information.
