**Role**:
The Scheduling Clerk is responsible for providing administrative and clerical services in order to ensure effective and efficient operations; as well as, coordinating and maintaining scheduling for the Ottawa Home Care clients and staff. The Scheduling Clerk functions as an integral part of the health care team, and performs all duties in a manner consistent with and supports the Mission, Vision, Values of the Ottawa Home Care.

**Skill Requirements**:

- **Education**: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training.
- **Credentials**: Diploma/Certificate.
- **Experience**: A minimum 6 months experience is an asset, however we do work with new graduates to assist in your learning experience.
- **Essential Skills**: Creative problem solving skills resolves transportation and patient conflicts. The ability to interpret complex policies and procedures and clearly explain them to employees is a required skill Scheduling Clerk must have a general understanding of office practices and procedures and use of office equipment (computer, fax, etc). Be able to effectively communicate orally and written communication skills. Require the capability to work both independently with minimum supervision and as a team. Be able to establish and maintain positive and effective interpersonal working relationships. Ability to meet tight deadlines, work in a time sensitive environment, and have sound organizational skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract, Casual
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: $36,597.24-$37,440.00 per year
