**JOB SUMMARY**

The IT Systems Analyst is responsible for ensuring the stable operation of our IT infrastructure as well as providing front-line primary technical support to end users on various technical issues and problems relating to hardware and software.

As part of the IT team, you will be working on various new projects to enhance and improve operations as Pearle Hospitality moves towards new technologies and platforms.

The IT System Analyst must have excellent problem-solving skills in order to diagnose, evaluate and resolve complex problem situations, or when appropriate, escalate or route them to appropriate IT staff members.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

The duties of this position will include, but are not limited to the following:

- Day-to-day operations and support of the IT infrastructure.
- Perform system monitoring and maintenance of all on premise and cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, backup and recovery.
- Ensure daily backup checklist are completed.
- Hands-on management of O365.
- Review and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
- Assist in performing network management duties - upgrades, installation, testing, designing, developing, monitoring and tuning of network devices.
- Working with external vendors to coordinate troubleshooting and resolution of vendor specific hardware and software problems.
- Assist in strategic IT planning and managing small projects to successful completion.
- Responsible for responding, documenting and resolving service tickets in a timely manner.
- Provide systems administration and maintenance, end user support and other operational tasks
- Review and recommend new products and procedures
- Review and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
- Conduct periodic audits across all supported products.
- Take ownership and accountability for enhancing results or minimizing problems.
- Staying abreast of new developments, techniques and technology for resolving systems and networking issues.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Providing out of hours support when necessary.

**QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS**

Must have demonstrably strong technical skills and hands-on experience with computer and server operating systems, in particular;
- Managing and administering Active Directory (AD), group policy updates, AD site configuration and major version upgrades
- Managing end user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations in accordance with best-practices and information security guidelines.
- Managing Windows Server OS (2008 R2 to 2019), VMWare 5.x and above.
- Working knowledge of network protocols and security controls (Firewalls, IDS /IPS etc.)
- Managing Backup and Anti-virus software.
- Knowledge of PCI compliance
- Familiarity with managing Microsoft SQL Server
- Managing and Configuring Microsoft Windows 10,
- Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office 2019/365 software
- Microsoft Office 365 Administration
- Experience configuring and managing SharePoint and OneDrive
- Familiarity with Windows deployment toolkit and remote management technologies.
- Managing and configuring wireless and wired LAN technologies, routing, switching, Firewalls, VPN, VoIP and analogue telephony.

**The successful applicant must have**:

- A degree in Computer Networking, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline.
- A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in the information technology field with direct experience in networking and interconnecting of multiple sites.
