The Responsible Gambling Council (RGC) is a leading international authority on responsible gambling (RG)—providing insights to industry stakeholders through its research, advisory services and problem gambling prevention programs, as well as accrediting responsible gambling initiatives to gambling companies across the globe. Based in Toronto, RGC operates independently from the gaming industry, allowing it to offer unbiased insights and services related to responsible gambling.

Committed to fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth, we are seeking a Learning and Development Coordinator to play a pivotal role in implementing learning initiatives for RGC employees working at PlaySmart Centres. As the Learning and Development Coordinator, you will support the culture of continuous learning by successfully supporting the implementation of a Learning Management System (LMS) and deploying training programs that align with PlaySmart Centre’s strategic goals. **This is a contract position until June 2025.**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide administration, coordination, scheduling, and shipping support for all PSC Learning & Development initiatives
- Ensure learning materials are fit for purpose and tailored for the correct audience
- Contribute to L&D projects and act as project administrator
- Participate in building the implementation strategy for a Learning Management System, ensuring a seamless transition and user adoption
- Establishing a set of governance and processes to deliver consistent administration, operation and use of the LMS
- Setting up data and system governance processes and procedures to set quality assurance standards for building, maintaining and operating a LMS
- Work directly with internal teams to solve technical system issues and implement enhancement and LMS new system releases
- Provide training and support to users, including administrators, instructors, and learners on the LMS
- Assists with the administrative functions of the learning management systems, including ongoing updates, assignments, audits, quality assurance test, and learning metrics reporting
- Work collaboratively with PSC staff, staff across the organization and external stakeholders
- Contribute to the evaluation of PSC learning initiatives
- Support the learning culture in all L&D interactions
- Undertake other duties as may be required by the Learning and Development Manager
- Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of training programs
- Maintain accurate training records, including attendance, completion, and certifications

**What We're Looking For**:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems (Brainshark), with hands-on experience in system implementation
- Effective oral and written communication abilities to convey technical concepts clearly
- Quick adaptability to new technical skills
- A proactive and detail-oriented mindset
- Virtual facilitation and moderation skills set
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
- At least two years of recent, relevant experience, supplemented by post-secondary education in Learning and Development or Adult Education, or an equivalent combination of training and experience in implementing workplace learning programs
- Experience in gambling harm prevention or knowledge of the gambling industry is a strong asset with at least 6 months of experience working in a PlaySmart Centre
- Ability to work independently while effectively managing priorities and handling multiple projects simultaneously
- Exposure to SCORM, API/Web Based integration is considered a valuable asset
- Stay updated on trends and best practices in Workplace learning
- The ability to support trainings needs on evening and weekends when the need arises

**Compensation**:
Salary range for this position is $49,712.00 - $62,088.00 commensurate with skills and experience.
