**THE ROLE**:
The **Director, Technical Services** will serve as a key member of the management team, providing technical and operational leadership for Denison's development projects. This role involves overseeing the technical de-risking process and conducting comprehensive assessments to enhance project value, specifically for the Wheeler River Project and Waterbury Lake Project, while also supporting other major partner assets. Responsibilities include identifying and mitigating portfolio risks and collaborating with Regulatory and Operations teams to effectively communicate and address any commercial, operational, permitting, regulatory, or implementation risks, and developing and implementing timely mitigation strategies.

The **Director, Technical Services** possesses a robust background in geological sciences, complemented by extensive technical expertise, advanced analytical skills, and significant project management experience. Additional qualifications and attributes include:

- A university degree in Geological Sciences or a similar mining field is required; professional designation is an asset.
- A minimum of 10 years of practical experience in leading drilling and field programs is required.
- Progressive leadership experience leading and managing teams is essential.
- Demonstrated critical thinking abilities, problem-solving skills, and a continuous improvement-oriented mindset.
- Strong leadership, teamwork, collaboration, and negotiation skills to effectively influence and achieve results through others.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and MS Project is required. SAP/ERP and mining/modelling software (Leapfrog, GEMS, Vulcan etc.) is an asset.
- Exceptional communication skills to relay information to various stakeholders and executive leaders and effectively convey performance expectations ensuring accountability for results cross team members.
- Demonstrated proficiency in managing daily tasks and longer-term activities against deadlines, safety requirements and quality standards.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage, influence, and build solid working relationships with peers, co-workers, employees, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to wear and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and assigned.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and be willing to travel to and work on remote sites with varying frequencies and durations.

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Oversee the development of NI 43-101 compliant technical studies, ranging from Concept to Feasibility, which serve as a critical basis for decision-making related to the Company's development initiatives.
- Serve as the Company’s primary liaison with external groups such as consultants and contractors for the purposes of field programs and desktop studies.
