**Position Information**:
In collaboration with the Director of Operational Readiness & Service Planning, the Project Manager, HR Planning will provide leadership and coordination related to the Human Resources planning initiatives for the New Campus Development Project. This role involves the development of an action plan to support TOH's transition to the new campus and encompasses various HR domains including labour relations, workforce planning, recruitment, change management, staff engagement and training and orientation. The planning and construction of the new campus is one of the largest infrastructure projects in Ottawa's history and will reshape health care in Ottawa.
The Project Manager, HR Planning will work collaboratively with all programs and services at TOH, OHRI, UOHI and regional partners to ensure linkage and alignment of health care services and health human resources for the region as the new site is being planned. The Project Manager will be the lead assisting TOH Service Line Leadership throughout the planning process to ensure organizational readiness as the project is executed including but not limited to Human Resource planning, action plan development, operational alignment, internal/external stakeholder engagement and any other elements related to the successful development of the new campus.
The Project Manager will lead and collaborate with stakeholders and external consultants, as required.

**What you will do**:
- Have a full understanding of TOH's complex new campus project and ensure the optimal development of a Human Resources action plan as it relates to the impact on multiple areas throughout the various campuses;
- Collaborate with TOH's Planning team and Human Resource leaders to create successful Project Implementation Plans for large-scale complex projects;
- Be the primary contact for multiple projects and responsible for leading the Human Resources action plan development;
- Prioritize projects based on resources and strategic requirements;
- Determine the timeline requirements for each phase of the project;
- Determine resource requirements of each phase of the project;
- Establish performance metrics and key performance indicators for the project;
- Prepare regular reporting on project scope for TOH leadership;
- Aggregate, organize and disseminate program project status information highlighting any anticipated challenges or risks;
- Identify and propose innovative strategies and best practices to modernize the work environments;
- Identify and facilitate resolution of planning issues, escalate as required;
- Summarize program requests needs and advise on alignment with corporate priorities;
- Routinely report on project execution timelines, impacts and risks, this will include presentations, report generation;
- Oversee the development of contract documents as per TOH and industry standards, as required;
- Ensure project consultants are fulfilling their contractual obligations including abiding by TOH policies and procedures, as required;
- Maintain accurate and efficient monitoring and record system related to planning projects, correspondence, approvals, schedules and progress notes;Recruit and manage the required positions to ensure successful evolution of the new campus project, including but not limited to project coordinators and will include responsibility and oversight for their annual performance and deliverables;
- Establish processes for stakeholder participation and input in all projects in order to incorporate input into the planning and design process;
