**Job Description**:
**AECOM **Buildings + Places** **Architectural team are seeking a** Business Process Improvement Manager** to join our team. This position is based out of our **Markham **office.

AECOM Buildings + Places Canada (B+P Canada) is a vibrant and growing fully integrated team spanning architecture, all the building’s engineering disciplines, landscape architecture, urban planning, urban design, economics and asset management for design and infrastructure projects. Project assignments may include, although not limited to: Transit and Municipal, Commercial, and Institutional projects, Justice, Education and Government.

**Major Responsibilities**:

- Manage and measures the effectiveness of existing business processes and develops sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process improvements.
- Analyzes process data to initiate, develop and recommend business practices and procedures that focus on increased productivity and reduced cost.
- Determines how new information technologies can support reengineering business processes.
- May specialize in one or more of the following areas: business process analysis and reengineering, change management, transition/improvement projects, project management and measurement, and/or process-driven systems requirements.
- May manage professional staff or business support team(s) and is accountable for the performance and results of a team within own discipline or function.
- Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.
- Decisions and problem-solving are guided by policies, procedures and business plan; receives guidance from senior manager or director.
- Provides technical guidance to employees, colleagues and/or customers.
- Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization.
- Supports senior manager or director, and project manager to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems.

**Minimum Requirements**:
University degree in relevant field of study + 8 (eight) years of relevant experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
