Business Development Director

We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to lead our Canadian team at WellnessLiving. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and executing strategic initiatives to expand our business.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide strategic oversight and manage day-to-day operations of the Canadian team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product, to drive revenue growth and execute business strategies.
- Contribute to pipeline generation, prospecting, and lead generation through various channels.
- Effectively communicate WellnessLiving's value proposition to generate excitement among potential clients.
- Establish and monitor departmental targets and quotas, leveraging data analysis and market research.
- Develop impactful prospecting and outreach strategies in consultation with the Director of Sales.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance customer experience.
- Generate and analyze reports to identify trends and opportunities.
- Mentor and support the professional development of the team.
- Lead by example to inspire the team and prioritize customer needs.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Business Development or Sales Management role.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Experience in the SaaS industry is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated drive to achieve measurable performance goals.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively.
- Proven experience coaching and guiding sales professionals.
- Proficiency in cold calling and sales techniques.
- Excellent prioritization skills and familiarity with Salesforce and other platforms.
