Bookkeeper/administrative Assistant

*Job description - Bookkeeper & Exec. Admin
- * Bookkeeping
- Keep multiple company QuickBooks files up to date with rudimentary bookkeeping transactions such as: o revenues, expenses, invoicing from work orders o balance sheet transactions, investments o depreciation, taxation o Reconciliation of bank accounts
- Process payroll for the company on a biweekly basis and generate pay stubs for all employees
- Track all companies in QuickBooks such that: o the owner can make business decisions based on QuickBooks reports o QuickBooks file can be turned over to the company’s accountant for auditing and year end purposes o Work with field staff to create invoices based on their work orders
- Able to: o work with the accountant in order to update company Quickbooks file with any adjusting entries or corrections from year end o calculate and file HST, WSIB per the company obligations o generate standard company reports such as a trial balance, a general ledger, profit and loss, balance sheet, job (cost centre) reports o generate custom company reports
- A big plus (but not mandatory) would be: o Paralegal experience o Engineering familiarity o Ably to file company year ends o Familiarity with construction companies
**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance
