Jr Purchaser/administration Clerk

Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Jr Purchaser/ Administrative Clerk to join our team. You will play a crucial role in supporting our daily operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of our office. This is a full-time position.
**Duties**:
- Provide general administrative support to the purchasing team
- Assist with data entry, filing, and document management
- Work with accounts payable printing and sorting invoices and packing slips
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as needed
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate person
- Greet visitors and provide them with necessary information
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned
**Skills**:To excel in this role, you should have the following skills:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in using computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Preferred Skills (not required but a plus):
- Familiarity with Jonas software
- Knowledge of construction estimating or building processes
