**The Opportunity**
- The Associate Vice President Sales, Eastern Canada will provide direct leadership to Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs) and Business Development Managers (BDMs) in Eastern Canada ensuring they are successful in developing broker relationships and achieving sales targets. The AVP is responsible for supporting strategies related to people, sales and financial targets aligned to company strategy.

**Core Responsibilities**
- Manage RVPs/BDMs brokers growth of agents by targeting new potential brokers that are not registered with RFA.
- Complete weekly and monthly assessments/reviews with RVPs to ensure business volumes, declines and cancellations are satisfactory.
- Review regional reporting and provide feedback, reports and information to the brokers & team of production staff assigned to the same region.
- Recruit, onboard and train new RVPs and BDMs
- Work closely with senior management to develop and enhance new sales strategies
- Lead Eastern RVPs with strike focus on regional development, problem solving, and broker base build out
- Collaborate with credit operations and sales management on product development
- Provide and maintain competitor intel, identify opportunities and trends and communicate to senior leadership team.
- Create strategic regional sales plans to grow RFA broker support and exposure
- Manage RVP’s daily sales activities, provide additional training and monitor regional broker relationships.
- Report and work directly with VP on growth initiatives and broker engagement
- Develop policies and procedures to facilitate the efficient origination of mortgage products sold through the mortgage broker channel

**What you can bring to RFA**:

- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in mortgage industry is required.
- A minimum of 4 years sales and or relationship management experience.
- Undergraduate University degree is an asset.
- Strong knowledge with minimum 4 years’ experience in mortgage underwriting, insurer guidelines, as well as the real estate market and mortgage products, features, policies and services.
