**Administrative Support/Data Entry**
**Purpose**: The Data Entry position is responsible for inputting client data into a provincial database system. Accuracy and ability to handle sensitive information maintaining client confidentiality is critical. The successful applicant will support and perform other clerical functions as needed.
**Reports to**: Manager of PSL and Manager of IHP
**Location**: 1425 Cormorant Rd., Ancaster (3 days per week) and 26 Arrowsmith Rd., Hamilton (2 days per week)
**What we offer**:
- Permanent position of 37.5 hrs./wk. (1.0 FTE)
- Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm with flexibility to occasionally work outside of regular hours
- Salary: $19.00-22.75/hr. depending on experience
- 4 weeks’ vacation per year to start
- 3 days of paid time off during December holiday season
- Paid sick time available after successful completion of 3 month probationary period
- Benefits available after successful completion of 3 month probationary period **(shared cost between employer and employee)**:

**Primary Functions and Responsibilities**:
- Infant Hearing Program data entry - entering hearing test information into provincial database
- Back up to full intake process when required (i.e. booking appointments, connecting with partner agencies etc.)
- Enter community contact information into the Electronic Health Record
- Input partner agency statistics into HCD-ISCIS (provincial database)
- Input clinician statistics into HCD-ISCIS (provincial database)
- Input FOCUS forms HCD-ISCIS (into provincial database)
- Scan and upload documents into Electronic Health Record, sort faxes
- Participate in agency training and staff meetings
- Reception duties - maintain book pick up, greet families, alert clinicians
- Booking appointments for clinicians
- Perform other tasks at the request of managers when required
**Qualifications**:
- College diploma in Office Administration
- 1 year of relevant work experience in administrative support, including Word and Outlook
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, as a member of a team and to multi-task
- Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills with pleasant telephone manner
- Knowledge and understanding of the Hamilton early years’ community is an asset
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Fluency in French is an asset
- Has access to reliable transportation and, if applicable, has a valid Ontario’s driver’s license and carries vehicle liability insurance on their vehicle.
This position is dependant on government funding. In the event that funding is reduced or terminated a minimum of one month’s notice will be given to the employee.
