Bookkeeper/office Manager

McIntyre & Sons Trucking Ltd. [MST], McIntyre & Sons Construction Ltd. [MSC], and McIntyre & Sons Developments Ltd. [MSD] is a family-owned and operated group of companies operating within the south/central Vancouver Island construction industry with offices in Nanaimo and Victoria.
We are looking for a full-time bookkeeper/office manager to work out of our Nanaimo location. Your responsibilities/job description is as follows:
You must be:
- reliable
- organized
- dependable

- a problem solver
- able to meet deadlines
- proficient in Quick Books, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word
You must have:
- attention to detail
- work well under pressure
- good communication skills, both written and verbal
- 3-5 years bookkeeping experience
Job role:
- reconcile accounts
- post journal entries
- payroll, source deductions, GST, PST, and WSBC
- prepare trial balance of books
- maintain general ledgers and financial statements
- AP, AR, invoicing, monthly statements, weekly accounting report to the Owner
- tax returns, T4's
- process daily driver worksheets and timesheets
- maintain fleet insurance
- work closely with the owner and company accountant
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour
