Bookkeeping Clerk

The 460 Group is an integrated group of companies on Vancouver Island that specialize in commercial and residential real estate and property management and other related businesses. We are looking for organized, competent, self-motivated Bookkeeper to help with the daily operations of the companies, who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

As part of the finance group, you will be responsible for client financial reporting and day-to-day transaction processing, completed accurately and delivered with high quality, in a timely manner.

**Responsibilities include**:

- AR/AP Input and processing
- Bank Reconciliations
- Tax filings, including GST and Non-Resident
- Other duties and projects as required

**Requirements**:

- 2+ years’ relevant experience
- Strong accounting background
- Capability to quickly learn new systems and processes
- Customer service experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently with minimum supervision, as well as within a team
- Professional interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of online software systems (Experience in Yardi, Buildium and Broker Wolf an asset)

**Salary**: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

- Nanaimo, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
