Accounting & Administration for Addison Leasing of Canada Ltd..
Facilitate work, paper & audit flow of new deals of all clients inclusive of reconciliation General Ledger accounts. Responsible for posting all accounting entries affiliated with new deals and use of Internal Biller and Accounting and Subledger platforms
- Act in the best interest, sense of urgency, of clients and the organization
- Knowledge for preliminary deal audit and accounting for final processing
- Create, populate, shelve & remove physical unit files in appropriate section in file room and follow up with respective parties for all outstanding items
- Lease Vehicle Deal Audit Processing
- Understanding of accounting to be able to reconcile all postings to the GL and verify they are going to correct GL accounts inclusive of
- INB Batches
- Delivery Batches
- Commission Batches
- AR/AP Batches
- Aftermarket Batches
- Audit and verify all documents for a new vehicle lease.
- Ensure all documents match with Sub Ledger TrAction
- All entries must be verified to ensure Cap Cost is correct along with any aftermarket invoices
- Verify all insurance documents
- Verify all payment documents
- Ensure completeness and accuracy before posting to accounting platform GP (Great Plains)
- Processing documents on our Billing Platform to enable charges to be billed and put on the client’s A/R
- Configuring COD payments to EFT to dealers and reconcile prior to sending to AP.
- Full control of our Card Program - order new, replacements, lost cards and respond to all client inquiries on their card and follow the full process for each new client
- General Office Duties
- Ordering and stocking supply cabinet
- Processing mail daily and dropping off at mailbox
- Reception duties if required when in the office
- Processing manual credit card payments and passing on to AP to complete payment.
- All other office duties as requested.
Other responsibilities as required
Accounting background preferred. (Great Plains experience is an asset)
Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and focus on details
Initiative to work independently and multi-task while managing varying client/departmental priorities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including telephone communication and active listening with experience in building customer relationships
Action-oriented with the drive to take initiative and accountability for decision-making
Business acumen and ability to interface in person and remotely with customers
Interest in a position centered in an office environment
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 Annual Salary
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday - 8:30 to 5:00 - in office at least once a week
- Work remotely - 8:30 to 5:00 is optional
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Mississauga, ON L5N 2X7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Previous Accounting background including AR/AP and GL with knowledge of Financial Statements.
**Salary**: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
