Overview:
The Graitec technical team in Montreal is looking for a bilingual (French and English) Solution Technical Specialist specializing in structural analysis for all services associated with the Advance Design & BIM Designer products.
**Objectives**:
- Contribute to the profitability and increased development of our clientele by offering a range of consultancy and training services before and after sales. Use your technical experience to improve the company's product services by collaborating with the various teams
- Have a good understanding and use of our Graitec Advance Design structural analysis solution in accordance with the Canadian & American markets
- Position yourself as an expert in the use of this software
- Support sales teams by performing relevant product demonstrations, technical support, training, advice and configuration to customers and prospects
- Manage technical relationships with key customers
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop a complete understanding of Advance Design software to ensure that each sales opportunity is maximized
- Position Advance Design as the preferred solution for concerned industries
- Animate product demonstrations and presentations
- Perform training on Advance Design and other products at Graitec North America offices, at Graitec authorized reseller offices and potentially at customers' sites.
- Participate in the development of Advance Design requiring:
- Monitoring of relevant and associated standards
- Creation and updating of databases, default parameters and product specifications
- Continuous improvement of the product based on personal and customer comments
- Creation of technical documentation
- Provide ongoing technical support and promote products in collaboration with sales and technical teams through online webinars and other similar activities as required
- Organize and lead technology workshops for new customers, existing customers and resellers to help improve our reputation as a leading North American Advisor and Consultant
- Act as an ambassador for Graitec during all customer interactions and have a model behavior thus allowing the company to be considered as a truly service oriented company
- Participate in business projects when necessary
- Perform any other ad-hoc tasks that are relevant to this job requested by your supervisor
**Responsibilities**:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering is mandatory
- Experience in structure design according to the NBCC (A23, S16 and / or O86) or AISC/ACI
- Extensive experience with structural analysis software
