ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:_**
- As a Solution Specialist, you will collaborate with stakeholders and customers in the air transport industry to deliver complex solutions for airlines. You will be responsible for overseeing technical pre-sales activities, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and providing expert guidance to customers. Reporting to the Director of Design, Innovation and Architecture, you will be a key member of the Solution Design team, focusing on technical pre-sales._

WHAT YOU WILL DO: _**
- _ Contribute to product development by relaying key client feedback and participating in brainstorming for new products or features._
- _ Shape product evolution by contributing to enterprise architecture processes for the SITA Aircraft Business Unit platform._
- _ Provide technical support for RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, producing technical materials and coordinating with relevant teams._
- _ Lead discussions on multi-product solutions, ensuring all impacts are understood, road mapped, and committed by stakeholders._
- _ Offer technical and business analysis for the Product Gate Process, particularly in multi-product and cross-functional data integration projects._
- _ Develop and lead client workshops to fully enable the implementation of SITA products._
- _ Foster partnerships with external suppliers and academic institutions within the industry._
- _ Maintain deep expertise in relevant technologies and industry solutions, while keeping a broad strategic view._
- _ Execute tasks in line with corporate and regional standards, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to technical specifications and KPIs._

Qualifications:
**_ EXPERIENCE:_**
- _ Experienced technical professional with a proven background in the airline or aircraft industry._
- _ 6+ years of experience in Airline IT/TechOps or related Air Transport Industry sectors (e.g., OEM)._
- _ Expertise in software and system design, including Cloud and Service-Oriented Architectures. _
- _Excellent communicator, able to understand customer needs while effectively engaging with technical and product teams._
- _ Entrepreneurial mindset, driven to identify and pursue opportunities while ensuring thorough analysis and capturing all details._
- _ Collaborative and innovative, thrives in brainstorming sessions and team problem-solving._
- _ You are skilled in designing and implementing solutions using a wide variety of technologies such as: Cloud solutions, Data streaming (Kafka, MQ, Apache Flink ), Database management, APIs_
- _Networking: Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS), load balancing, and firewall configurations_
- _ Disaster Recovery & High Availability: Experience in designing highly available, resilient systems with disaster recovery plans (Active/Passive, Active/Active failover)._
- _ Machine Learning/AI (optional): Basic understanding of AI/ML models and their deployment could be a plus, particularly for innovative data processing or predictive analytics in the aviation industry._
