**Position Summary**

Hollyburn Country Club is seeking a talented and passionate Beverage Manager to lead and elevate our beverage programs across the club. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for curating exceptional wine, beer, and cocktail menus, ensuring cost controls, and providing outstanding training and leadership to our bar and service staff. You will also work closely with the Food & Beverage team to deliver a consistent, high-quality dining experience that reflects the club’s commitment to excellence.

**Position Responsibilities**
- Wine Program Management - 30%_
- Curate and maintain an exceptional wine list, aligning selections with menu offerings and current trends.
- Collaborate with the Events team to design specialized wine lists for private functions and club events.
- Act as a sommelier on the floor 3-4 nights per week, providing pairing recommendations and enhancing guest experiences.
- Beer & Cocktail Program Development - 30%_
- Develop a craft beer menu featuring local, domestic, and international options, regularly updating selections.
- Innovate and oversee a creative cocktail menu, incorporating seasonal ingredients and trends.
- Staff Leadership & Training - 20%_
- Lead the recruitment, training, and scheduling of bartenders, ensuring high service standards.
- Develop and facilitate a wine and beverage training program for front-of-house staff.
- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Operational Excellence - 10%_
- Oversee beverage inventory across venues, conducting regular checks and coordinating orders with suppliers.
- Maintain and ensure the functionality of beverage dispensing systems, scheduling regular maintenance.
- Implement cost-control measures for liquor, wine, and beer, monitoring budgets and minimizing waste.
- Guest Service & Engagement - 10%_
- Deliver exceptional guest service, setting the standard for staff.
- Respond to guest feedback promptly, using it to drive continuous improvement in service delivery.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team and Director of Purchasing to align beverage offerings with culinary programs.

**Skills & Qualifications**
- 3+ years of experience as a manager in a high-volume environment.
- Wine education is a must; sommelier accreditation is an asset.
- Strong leadership skills and demonstrated ability to build relationships with guests and team members.
- High personal integrity, professionalism, and maturity.
- Passion for food, wine, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with industry-specific software and electronic commerce systems.

**Working Conditions**:

- This position operates 100% on-site
- Regular evenings or weekend work may be required during peak periods or special events
