**C|Prime Modern Italian Steak and Wine** in Downtown Vancouver is looking to hire for a full time **Food & Beverage Manager. **Would consider a contract position.

**Job Details**

As the Food & Beverage Manager, you will monitor all aspects of the day-to-day operations of both a full-service upscale dining room, and a coffee shop. This includes Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Room Service, Banquets, and Special Events.

The Food & Beverage Manager would also have full responsibility of all floor staff.

Managing labour and cost controls, recruiting, team building, maintaining cleanliness and presentation are also key components of this role.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 4 years front-of-house senior management in the restaurant industry in high volume, upscale establishments. This includes the ability and willingness to perform all front-of-house activities efficiently and professionally;
- Be polished and professional in presentation, communication, coaching, and attitude;
- Excellent wine knowledge with a clear understanding of beer and spirits trends;
- Be willing and able to support the entire front-of-house team in all capacities and in all day-to-day activities;
- Be able to deliver excellent customer service to our clients and guests;
- Have a clear understanding of restaurant financial aspects, being capable of delivering budgeted targets, and be able to justify a profit & loss statement;
- Have flexibility in availability, as mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays are all required;
- Excellent Oracle Simphony POS knowledge (and/or similar point of sale systems), payment processing systems, and effective working experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as online reservation systems such as Open Table;
- Must have Serving It Right and Food Safe certification, and legally entitled to work in Canada.
