Earth Sciences is the science of the planet Earth. **Responsibilities**:

- The Coordinator will perform a wide range of administrative duties to support the Department of Earth Sciences including preparation of itineraries and organization of logistics for the international geoscience field experience. The incumbent will carry out administrative functions, communicate and build relationships with a wide range of internal and external contacts; anticipate and resolve issues, coordinate projects, and implement administrative systems and procedures within the term of the contract. The incumbent will serve as a principal source of information regarding administrative functions, and may monitor budgets and financial processes.**Qualifications**:
**Education**:
- Undergraduate Degree in Earth Sciences or related field

**Experience**:
- 1 year of administrative experience in an office environment

Skills, Abilities & Expertise:
- Knowledge of general office procedures
- Familiarity with financial records management
- Familiarity with University policies and procedures preferred
- Ability to ensure expenditures and resources are within allotments, and to make appropriate modifications when required
- Ability to foster collaboration and respect among team members
- Communication skills with confidence interacting with individuals at all levels of an organization
- Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite
- Customer service skills with a desire to achieve results in a professional and timely manner
- Detail-oriented with an ability to function and process information with high levels of accuracy
- Ability to create a positive impression while interacting with others and responding to inquiries, by telephone, in person or electronically
- Results-oriented with an ability to handle many tasks and maintain a high level of individual and team performance
