**Job Description Summary**: Responsible for building and maintaining effective long-term relationships with a defined customer base, maximizing revenues from sales of the organization's products and/or services through a base of reseller partners (e.g., distributors or retailers), closing direct sales of products and/or services, and supporting sales representatives and channel partners in administrative areas.

**Responsibilities**:

- Respond to leads and engage new customers within defined target customer segments to support market growth.
- Responsible for customer base for DS media portfolio and support DS reps with their direct accounts.
- Responsible for executing protect strategy with SM portfolio alongside SM reps.
- Build strong relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to develop loyalty and demonstrate sales effectiveness.
- Ensure that customer concerns are addressed and resolved in a positive and friendly manner and a positive customer experience is maintained.
- Embrace BD way of selling approach and ensure consistent and effective use of organizational tools and resources (i.e., SFDC, Outlook etc.) to maintain clear communication and record selling activities.
- Performing other related duties as may be assigned by the Sales and Marketing Director.
- Travel estimated 10%-20% in field; within the Greater Toronto Area

Skills and Competencies
- Fluency in English and French is required.
- Strong communication and presentation skills. Able to effectively share information in both verbal and written form.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Self-motivated, takes on additional responsibilities, and manages priorities with mínimal supervision.

Qualifications and Experience
- Previous remote selling experience preferred.

Education and Training
- Bachelor's degree required - preference for business or related to medical technology.
- Experience in Microbiology, Specimen Management and/ or Diagnostics
