**Job Description**:
Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the maintenance, repair and preventative maintenance of the facility and the grounds by working with the Maintenance department, Quality Assurance department and other staff to identify and correct potential issues that could result in damage to the facility, violations to GMP(s), quality and safety standards.
- Working closely with the various departments on maintenance issues (monthly inspections, safety repairs, quality inspection repairs, building and grounds, etc.)
- Perform frequent facility inspections including documenting findings and tracking issues through resolution
- Respond to equipment and facility breakdowns and inefficiencies in a timely and effective manner
- Assisting other departments where needed as directed by management, Supervisors, and Department Managers
- Following all policies implemented by the company (Safety, and GMP(s), cell phone, etc.)
- Provide recommendations to management on changes or improvements to processes in order to achieve greater efficiencies and overall company goals with a continuous improvement mindset approach
- Utilize effective troubleshooting processes related to day-to-day operation of all facility equipment (excluding production equipment)
- Obtain quotes from vendors and secure P.O. approvals
- Coordination with third parties
- Ensure contractor safety program requirements are verified and followed
- Coordinate with contractors for onsite support/maintenance/repairs such as (but not limited to):

- PIV equipment repair
- Refrigeration maintenance and preventative maintenance
- Other necessary items
- Review contractor reports and take timely necessary action with the maintenance supervisor based on the findings
- Coordinate with building owner/landlord for work needed
- Serve as safety program element owner for assigned programs
- Other duties as assigned

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Competency in English language (read, write, speak); excellent written, oral, and listening skills. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with groups of employees.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Can add, subtract, divide and have ability to calculate figures and amounts such as weights and cubic measurements.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to ensure all work is completed in the prescribed amount of time.
