rennie is looking for an exceptional People & Culture Coordinator to join our team and drive our talent initiatives forward in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be the face of our People & Culture team to current and future employees, playing a crucial role in delivering data-driven programs and services that positively impact the employee experience and business goals. This position may be a great fit if you are a curious and resourceful, proactive people & culture pro with demonstrated success owning and improving people programs, and recruiting a range of professional roles.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
**People Operations**- Provide frontline information to employees on people-related programs and policies, escalating to other members of the P&C team where needed- Own the administration and communications related to employee benefits and leaves, including being the internal benefits expert.- Coordinate and host learning and development initiatives- Ensure high quality and accurate people data across multiple systems, and lead regular reporting**Talent Acquisition**(up to 50% of role during busy hiring periods)- Lead full-cycle recruitment processes for various positions- Collaborate with hiring managers to refine hiring requirements, create compelling recruitment campaigns, and develop effective assessment plans-
- Source top talent independently and in partnership with rennie leaders
**Employee and Annual Lifecycle Management**- Coordinate and continually improve preboarding, onboarding, and offboarding experiences- Project coordinate and execute activities including and not limited to performance reviews, role changes, compensation changes, immigration needs, and recognition initiatives- Lead the student work program
WHAT YOU BRING- Comprehensive knowledge of the full employee lifecycle - from the perspective of people & culture, people leaders, and employees - with practical experience delivering HR services and programs across all stages-
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with a demonstrated history of using data to make effective recommendations and decisions- A skilled communicator, you are able to adapt your written and verbal communications to educate and persuade various audiences- Customer-focused in your approach, you embrace getting the details right every time and taking responsibility for positive outcomes- A demonstrated history of identifying areas that need attention and then taking the initiative to make things better- Endlessly resourceful, you actively build and maintain networks, continuously seek out learning opportunities, and find and use tools to achieve your goals as efficiently as possible- Confident in navigating technology and trying new ways of working, you are able to quickly learn and troubleshoot software systems using available resources. You are also committed to enhancing and developing processes to optimize productivity and your client groups’s experiences.- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including experience with building accurate reports, and manipulating and analyzing datasets.WORKING CONDITIONS- Our home office is located just outside of Granville Island in Kitsilano and this role is primarily office based with some flexibility to work remotely- Ability to travel as required
