We are looking for a qualified individual to act as an Outreach Coordinator to be accountable for providing planning and implementation of an outreach and engagement strategy aimed at key School of Business stakeholders. The incumbent will be responsible for the successful execution of initiatives that represents the School of Business within the College and in the greater community, including local school outreach and alumni activities, as well as regular School of Business events. This role will also plan, develop, and monitor internal communications for the School.

**Responsibilities**:

- Leads and supports outreach initiatives aimed at area high schools or other key locations to promote business programs and education and serves as the key point of contact
- Leads and supports activities aimed at engaging the School’s alumni groups through digital, virtual, and in-person activities.
- Plans and implements a School of Business communications plan to support the School’s strategic goals, operational needs, and calendar.
- Source, track, and develop stories of faculty, alumni, and student achievements and other notable activities to be used for promotional and reputation-building purposes.
- Creating and managing content for the School of Business’s cyclical internal communications, including the monthly newsletter, digital screen content, final review of communications, and SharePoint site.
- Organizes and coordinates events such as College Fairs, Open House, DECA, and other promotional events or activities for the School.
- Represents the School of Business at external events (trade shows, competitions, etc.) and helps to organize and coordinate administrative aspects related to the event.
- Supports student and faculty-oriented activities for the School, including promotion of School and College events, services, and activities.
- Fosters collaborative relationships with other college departments.
- Ensures consistency in the planning and execution of a wide array of projects and activities related to the promotion and engagement of internal and external stakeholders for the School of Business.
- Collects and monitors analytics related to communications efforts, for use in reporting.

Qualifications:

- Four-year Degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field of study is required
- Two years of relevant practical experience in presentation delivery, event planning, and/or communications planning is required
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong presentation and interpersonal/diplomacy skills
- Excellent project management skills
- Event planning and social media training, certification or skills are an asset
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Access to reliable transportation and the ability to travel locally to high schools, events, and/or convention centers for outreach initiatives.
