San Gennaro n'utilise que des ingrédients de la meilleure qualité pour sa célèbre pizza de style romain, ses gelati artisanaux et ses pâtisseries authentiques.

Nous sommes actuellement à la recherche d'un(e) pâtissier(ière) qui sera responsable de la préparation d'une grande quantité de beignets italiens (aussi appelés bombolone) chaque matins. Il s'agit de préparer la pâte, de faire frire le beignet, de le garnir ainsi que de préparer d'autres pâtisseries et desserts.

FONCTIONS ET RESPONSABILITÉS ESSENTIELLES
- Cuire les pâtisseries (bombolone, croissant, biscuits, etc.) selon les recettes de San Gennaro.
- Préparer la pâte à pâtisserie
- Préparer les poches à douilles
- Contrôler la température des fours ainsi que les temps de cuisson
- Gérer toutes les commandes
- S'assurer que le poste de travail et tous les outils de cuisine sont propres
- Cuisiner d'autres produits avec l'aide du personnel de cuisine.
- Contrôler l'inventaire

**L'équipe du matin travaille de 6h à 13h30**

**San Gennaro is a family owned and operated restaurant that prides itself on being at the forefront of southern Italian cuisine and coffee culture in Montreal. San Gennaro uses only the best quality ingredients for their renowned Roman-style pizza, artisanal gelati and authentic pastries.

We are currently looking for a pastry cook that is responsible for preparing a large quantity of Italian doughnuts (also known as bombolone) in the morning. It involves preparing the dough, frying the doughnuts, piping the doughnuts with various filings as well as preparing other pastries and desserts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Bake pastries (bombolone, croissant, cookies etc.) according San Gennaro recipes
- Prepare dough for pastries
- Prepare fillings/piping bags
- Monitor the temperature of the ovens as well as cooking times
- Monitor inventory
- Manage pastry orders and ensure they are completed in a timely manner
- Ensure workstation and all kitchen tools are clean
- Cook other items with the support of the kitchen staff

QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with food preparation and food handling
- Ability to follow recipes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to co-operate and work in a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Culinary certificate is an asset

**The morning shift is from 6:00 am to 1:30 pm.**
