As an Account Administrator, a typical day might include:_**
- Provides friendly, professional service to Personal Insurance team and Account Executives (if applicable)
- Handles routine Personal Insurance team and Account Executive inquiries/concerns in a timely manner
- Demonstrates and applies knowledge of binding authorities & insurer portals
- Ensures work is prompt, efficient and accurate
- Processes insurance documents for the Personal Insurance division, following established workflows and procedures, which may include working with outsourced processing firms
- Works with the Manager, Personal Insurance and other members of the BSAA Personal Insurance team to streamline and improve departmental processes
- Ensures all documents are accurate and accounts are kept in an orderly manner
- Prepares enclosure letters, processes glass contracts, issues endorsements and maintains expiration reports
- Manages daily administration of accounts, including correspondence; review of policy wordings; and issuance of new/renewal documentation
- Handles accounts and general account maintenance, including but not limited to ITVs; underwriting questionnaires & checklists; etc.

**_ Must haves:_**
- High School Diploma (at a minimum) with appropriate work experience to support
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, EPIC experience an asset.
- Commitment to providing superior customer service to a diverse clientele, recognizing and responding appropriately to business development opportunities to meet the customers’ insurance needs
- Excellent organizational & time-management skills, with demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple files and deadlines
- Superior oral and written communication skills
- Creative & collaborative problem-solving skills, ability to handle pressure in a time constrained environment
