Head Chef at The One Sixty Restaurant & Bar, Port Moody
We’re hiring a Head Chef who loves food to lead our kitchen team in Port Moody. The One-Sixty is a restaurant and bar with a focus on wine and elevated casual dining. We’re looking for a skilled cook with attention to detail and costing; a seasoned professional with a passion to deliver high quality food.
Your accountabilities as Head Chef will be:
Assisting with your own creativity and ideas, to maintain and enhance the vision of The One-Sixty.
Managing kitchen staff and scheduling, including hiring and training new staff.
Working closely with the General Manager to ensure a harmonious flow between the FOH and kitchen.
Managing and controlling food and labour costs.
Conduct inventory counts.
Experience required:
MINIMUM 4 YEARS IN A SIMILAR ENVIRONMENT.
Experience in managing and directing kitchen staff.
Proven experience with food costs and budgeting.
