Head Chef Position

We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to oversee kitchen operations at Tim Hortons. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, menu planning, and team management.
About the JobThis is a full-time position that requires the Head Chef to work on-site at our location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our kitchen operates efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities:- Determine food portion sizes and costs to optimize profitability.
- Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain stock levels.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain high-quality standards.
- Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain efficient operations.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to inform future purchasing decisions.
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
The salary for this position is estimated to be around $45,000-$60,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for career advancement.
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must have:
- A secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
