**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**JOB TITLE**:Accounts Payable Administrator

Primary Purpose

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Accounts Payable Administrator is responsible for providing financial, administrative, and clerical support to the organization. This role is involved in processing and entering all supplier invoices and payments. The person will also participate in a variety of accounts payable tasks, helping in the day-to-day workload in the finance department.

Major Responsibilities
- Enter trade supplier invoices in the accounting system.
- Daily matching of vendor invoices to packing slips, waybills, codes, enters ERP and write up of short payment advice when necessary.
- Daily printing, matching, coding, price discrepancy resolution and entry of invoices.
- Resolves outstanding invoices, discrepancies with vendors.
- Resolve pricing invoices with Marketing Manager.
- Resolves short ships, wrong shipments, and quantity variances with Purchasing.
- Weekly review of Accrued A/P Canadian and US to capture inventory receipts for which invoices have not been matched and entered in Accounting System.
- Opens new and maintains vendor accounts in Accounting System (vendor profile modification).
- Supports A/P Team during vacation coverage ie: payment production.
- Reconcile vendor statements.
- File all AP related documentations.

Assist Accounts Receivable
- Issues customers credits
- Scan all pickups to AR administrator.
- Open cheques received in mail, identifies postdated cheques and deposit using TD Remote Deposit Capture website.
- Cover all activities of the AR administrator when AR administrator on vacation.

Skills/Knowledge Required
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficient with Excel, Outlook and Word software.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
- Must be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Capability to organize his/her workload with mínimal supervision
- Team player with an energetic and positive professional attitude
- Attention to detail, ability to plan and prioritize tasks.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills.

Education and Experience
- Educational background in finance, accounting, or Business Administration
- Proven work experience in accounts payable

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $48,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
